Not another system of record
The surviving product thesis is source-linked factual reconciliation: use the project, interconnection and credit systems already in place, then reconcile one bounded financed security event to authoritative source/version evidence and return a source-linked exception workpaper.
Keep the existing stack
- GridUnity: interconnection system of record, financial tracking and process workflow.
- Sitetracker: project budgets, costs, documents and obligations.
- Finley: generic independent verification, borrowing-base validation, collateral monitoring and credit administration.
- Power Factors: contract/compliance workflow, versioned documents and audit-ready commercial operations.
The narrow layer being tested
Input: stable project key, provider/process, factual security event and evidence references. Output: source-admission state, target binding, normalized factual event, explicit exception codes, evidence citations and unresolved facts. No credit approval, borrowing-capacity decision, legal eligibility opinion or refund-right opinion.
Packaging
Pre-contact packaging is fixed-fee bounded reconciliation, not a software seat or subscription. Integration is delivery plumbing. Public-source reconstruction and generic workflow features count as $0 buyer value. Buyer value remains unvalidated until a private counterfactual is measured.
Fail closed
If an existing system already produces the exact interconnection-specific source/version binding and source-linked exception workpaper cheaply, this product should be killed for that workflow rather than duplicated.
Engagement-label boundary
This is not an audit, attestation, assurance engagement or Agreed-Upon Procedures engagement. “Independent” is not the default product claim; it is reserved for a future engagement only if the actual reviewer role and engagement terms support it.
