The current product label is source-linked factual reconciliation / exception workpaper. It describes the bounded output without implying a formal reviewer status.

What it is not

This is not an audit, attestation, assurance engagement, Agreed-Upon Procedures engagement (AUP), independent-accountant report, legal opinion, credit decision, or Independent Engineer/LTA replacement.

Independence is reserved

Buyer-controlled review, separate execution, hashing, or a downstream party re-performing facts does not by itself establish that this service is “independent.” That label requires the real role and engagement terms to support it and owner approval before external use.

Actual titles remain factual

If a financing really appoints an Independent Engineer or Lender Technical Adviser, the product may accurately describe that party and route exceptions/workpapers into its workflow. The product does not adopt the title.
