Downstream acceptance is not required for delivery close. Acceptance, independent reperformance and rejection remain measured disposition states. Rejection alone does not force revision until accepted.

Product factual defects remain product quality work. A defect discovered after close reopens the affected quality/economic measurement rather than creating new buyer value.
